Google is celebrating 2011 Thanksgiving a bit earlier with a special Turkey Doodle on it webpage. The special Turkey Doodle logo is interactive and a hand turkey with colorful feathers replace “oo” in Google that is pinned like a card.
Google Lets You Share Google Thanksgiving Doodle on Google+
By clicking on the interactive Google turkey one can change the costumes of the turkey. The Google Turkey can get new shoes, roller blades, new pair of glasses, different colored feathers and hats.
For the first time the Google Turkey Doodle is social, Google+ friendly. Yes, google allows Google Turkey to be shared either on Google+ and as a link. To share click on g+ and “link” located at the right bottom corner of the Google Turkey doodle.
How many different Google Hand Turkeys are in the Special Thanksgiving Google Doodle?
In a blog post titled “Which came first turkey or hand?“, Google teased the users to
make as many different turkeys as you like. With nearly three days to express your inner child or artiste and millions of possible combinations, you may find you unlock a surprise or two… or three… or 12!

Google was really talking about how when the right feathers, hairstyle and shoes match up, it creates a theme turkey. The turkey goes “poof!” and a spaceship appears if you can figure out the astronaut turkey combination out. There are 12 in total-nerd, gentleman, football player, kid, princess, pirate, astronaut, skier, disco turkey, tofurkey, and a wizard. Super FUn!

I’m very proud of the seven I figured out yesterday, but am very glad to “cheat” to find the rest. I was sooo close to finding the princess, but getting the correct combo of tail feathers was a bear.
