The reason for such a demand for its TouchPad is its dead cheap price. To clear out its stock pile of thousands of unsold TouchPad, HP sold 16GB HP TouchPad for $99 and 32GB TouchPad for $149. In the process of selling out, HP’s server also crashed and behaved erratically.

And HP started selling TouchPad at the reduced price is US today in its online store and the major retail stores like Walmart, BestBuy, and Staples. Within a few hours HP sold out TouchPad at these retails stores and finally in HP online store.
