And Verizon will be offering Motorola Xoom for $600 with two year contract. Motorola Xoom is priced at $799.99 without a contract.

For tablets like iPad and Samsung Galaxy Tab, Verizon is already offering 3GB for $35 per month, 5GB for $50 per month, 10GB for $80 per month plans.

Verizon also claims that typical download speed to be in the range of 600 to 1.4Mbps and typical upload speed of 500 to 800 Kbps. Motorola Xoom is 4G capable and one can upgrade Motorola Xoom to 4G LTE service at no cost when it is available in the second quarter of 2011.

Motorola Xoom is the first device to run Google’s new Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system, designed specially for tablets. Motorola XOOM is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor and features 10.1-inch widescreen HD display. It also has a front-facing 2-megapixel camera for video chats and a rear-facing 5-megapixel camera that captures video in 720p HD. The Motorola XOOM tablet won the coveted CNET Best of Show award at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show for being “the most potentially disruptive technology.”
