Google announced that Google Nexus S is available starting today, Thursday, December 16. Nexus S available only from Best Buy stores and online for $199.99 with two year T-Mobile contract.
Unlocked version of Google Nexus S with no contract is also available from Best Buy for $529. For a limited time, Best Buy is offering a free over night shipping. Announcing Nexus S’s availability Google said the wait is over.
Nexus S is the first smartphone that comes with the latest Android platform Android 2.3 or Gingerbread. It is also the first smartphone that features NFC (near field communication), a new short-range wireless technology that will be revolutionizing mobile experience soon. Nexus S is also the first smartphone to feature a 4” Contour Display. Nexus S is powered by a 1GHz Hummingbird processor and front and rear facing cameras for taking pictures and or video chat. Nexus S comes with 16GB of internal memory. Google claims
