Verizon announced that Motorola CITRUS will be available starting from tomorrow, November 11. Motorola CITRUS is an entry level smartphone powered by Android 2.1.
Motorola CITRUS is affordable and costs just $49.99 after a $100 main-in-rebate with a new two year contract. Verizon also requires a nationwide voice plan (starting from $39.99 per month) and a Data Package (starting from $15 per month for 150 MB).

Motorola CITRUS is a compact smartphone with 3.1 inch touch screen. It features an easy-to-use on-screen QWERTY keyboard with SWYPE for faster typing. It also has a full HTML Web browser offering a PC-like web browsing experience. A surprising package thet Verizon offers on this Android phone is that it is preloaded with Bing Search and Bing Maps. Motorola CITRUS is equipped with BACKTRACK, a touch panel located on the back of the phone that allows users to navigate their screen and apps. It also boasts of seven customizable home screen panels. It also has 3 MP camera with digital zoom. It has a 1150 mAh Li Ion battery with usage time up to 380 minutes.

Motorola CITRUS is an eco-friendly phone made from 25% post-consumer recycled plastic. In addition, the packaging is made from 80% post-consumer recycled paper and the user manual is made from 100% percent recycled paper and soy-based ink.
