With Google Voice Actions, you can speak to your smartphone and make it obey your commands to do lots of things. In addition to searching the web using Voice commands, one can call any businesses, contacts, send emails and text, listen to music (not just the one in your phone), browse the web, and do a number of tasks just by speaking to your phone.

To get started having fun with Voice Actions,

tap the microphone button on the Google search box on your home screen, or press down for a few seconds on the physical search button on your phone to activate the “Speak Now” screen.
