Are you sick and tired of following an Apple event using multiple live blogging? Apple knows that is painful. Even Steve jobs suffered from live blogging during Apple’s WWDC 2010 event. To remedy this issue Apple is going to broadcast the video of Apple fall event live, with a slight twist.
Apple announced in a media alert that it will broadcast HTTP live streaming. Not all can view the event. If you are a Windows or Android user, no luck for you. Apple put a restriction that to view the live video broadcast, one needs to use Apple products. It said, viewing requires one of the following Apple products
- Mac running Safari on Mac OS X version 10.6 Snow Leopard,
- an iPhone or iPod Touch running on iOS 3.0 or higher
- an iPad
The live broadcast will be available tomorrow 1st September at 1 p.m. EST (10 a.m. PDT) at its website www.apple.com.
What to Expect at Apple’s Fall Event Tomorrow?
In case you missed all the buzz around Apple’s fall event, the event is probably going to be music oriented. Apple sent out an invitation with an image of Guitar in it. Rumor mill has been working over time on the list of things from the Apple event. It is widely expected that Apple may unveil many of the following
- New iPod Touch with front and back facing Camera
- A smaller squarish iPod Nano with a touch screen
- Revamped iTunes on cloud
- $99 iOS based Apple TV called iTV with Netflix Access
- $0.99 rentals of TV shows
